About Us
Portus Animal Exports have 70 years experience in handling all sorts of animals and in transporting them to and from all parts of the world. As experienced breeders of dogs (gundogs a speciality), cats and horses, we have competed with our animals in this country and abroad, the welfare and safety of them is embedded in our ethos and your peace of mind is paramount to us.
We import specialist horses into the UK and along the way have owned a huge variety of other animals.
We have a vast knowledge of welfare and transport of animals keeping up to date with developments and the ever changing requirements of carriers and countries.
Pet Passports
The Pet Passport scheme still has procedures to adhere to and the whole affair can be time consuming and frustrating for you. Avoid this and ensure your animals travel is a
smoothly organised and effective event, leaving you with peace of mind and your animal as stress free as possible. We will do the rest.
Rules and Regulations
We will arrange a personal courier to transport your animal, after of course seeing that all the necessary documentation is in order and bookings made and that your animal or pet is well and suitably housed in the necessary accommodation/carrier for its journey.
Crates and Containers
We stock or can obtain for you a suitable kennel/crate for your pet or other animal. Attention will be given throughout your animals stay and journey with us, from and to you. We are based in the Midlands, so are in an excellent position to service all parts of the country; distance is no problem, be it Cornwall or the Hebridees.
